The man behind it all

Outfit Post

Shoes: JC Lita

Learn it, Live it, Love it

Anna Dello Russo - Editor at large and creative consultant of Japan Vogue and fashion maximalist ["Nothing exceeds like excess!"]. Her style and collection of clothes, accessories and shoes are to absolutely die for. She owns around 4,000 pairs of shoes, and keeps a second apartment solely for her amazing designer collection. She always sits front row at fashion week, usually wearing pieces straight off the runway - literally, she is wearing the exact same thing being worn by a model walking the runway. If that's not amazing then I don't know what is.

Her blog, which I have been following for quite some time now, consists of many amazing things; rules on sitting front row at fashion week [DO NOT wear sunglasses unless you are a veryVIP], interviews, photos of her outfits, her adorable dog Cucciolina and more.

If you don't know Anna Dello Russo, then you are just not living! Her outfits, lifestyle - everything, is completely inspiring; she really pushes the limits of fashion and creates amazing things.

Plum For Polly

Emilie, the creator and owner of Plum For Polly definitely shares the same love for shoes as I do! When the Lita came out, we were both lusting over them together.

I discovered her site when she first created it in July of 2010, and have just been loving it ever since. She hand picks every single item/brand on the site, and works her a** off all year long to make us all happy! She deals with more well-known brands such as Alternative Apparel, Charlotte Ronson, Hurley, Jeffrey Campbell, and Wildfox Couture, to smaller up and coming brands like Brandy & Melville, Joyrich, Mink Pink, and Sauce. Along with clothing and shoes, she also stocks adorable (and budget friendly!!) accessories and gifts...she does it all! Since there are so many amazing things at Plum For Polly, I had to post mostly about shoes [obviously], but also had to add some great clothes to go with your new shoes!

After hearing all about Emilie and her amazing site, Plum For Polly, I know you all want to go over and check it out! Use this coupon code LOVEPLUM for 10% off your first purchase.

Xo, Tori
P.S. Aren't you excited I figured out how to add the soundcloud thingy to the posts? Thanks Dust!!  ♥

More Love for Lita

Brand new Litas on Nasty Gal [and the pewter glitters are back]!!! I diee!
After the newest style in shag, I wasn't sure what would be next, but Jeffrey Campbell did it again! I'll take the pewter glitter and grey suede please...the never-ending wishlist continues. I really need to find a 3rd job to support my shoe habit.

For those of you who have never heard of Nastygal, they have an amazing selection of shoes, clothes and vintage finds at very affordable price points. Definitely one of my top favourite places to shop online!

I have been hearing from a few different people that they are having issues with what to wear with their Litas, so I posted some inspiration below [photos and a Polyvore I made]. Since it seems to be getting a bit warmer, I included some lingerie inspired pieces that look great at night. I feel as if the Litas go with almost everything, depending on what colour you have! I wear my brown ones with skirts, tights, socks, leggings, shorts, or dresses. My personal favourite way to wear them is with my DIY ripped up shorts, a long drapey tank, and either an open buttondown, cardigan, or jacket. Enjoy!

Lust for Lita

Lita is a phenomenon
Since her arrival in Fall 2010, she has been the talk of every blogger and fashionista. For those of you who do not know about Lita, my only question is, where have you been!? Mostly joking, but I think everyone needs a little bit of Lita in their lives.

Coming in a multitude of colours, there's definitely something for everyone, and at an average of $160 per pair, it is somewhat attainable. Styles go from basic colours [black, grey, brown, etc.] to the Lf exclusive leopard fur...and even shag! Unfortunately, Lita is getting so popular that many styles sell out immediately [as in a few hours]. I already own the brown, and am currently lusting over the black glitter, black fur, taupe suede, pewter glitter, and leopard fur...only about $800 worth of the same shoe (crazy, I know, but I told you I was addicted to shoes!). Sadly, the black glitters sold out on Solestruck right away but I will continue to wait for them.

At 5.5 inches, you may already be thinking "there's no way I could walk in those," but the high platform and an extra thick heel makes them simple and comfortable to move about in. For those of you that are tall, even better! When I wear my Litas I am just over 6'2" and I love it! I have worn them shopping, to school, out at night, and pretty much anywhere else I can! My only advice to you besides to buy them, would be to go down at least a half size and be cautious around stairs.
